The REAR, Società Cooperativa was founded in Turin in 1984, a historical period characterized by a strong employment crisis and during which the area of the North-EastThe West, where industrial hegemony is strongest and where there is a greater concentration of production.

Our cooperative originally had a single client, for whom it carried out fire service during some events at the halls of the Lingotto, first of all “The Turin Motor Show”.

Nel 1990 i soci fondatori fecero un passo indietro lasciando spazio alle giovani leve, fu infatti nominato un nuovo Consiglio di Amministrazione che mise in atto nuove politiche commerciali diversificando i servizi offerti a nuovi committenti dislocati anche fuori del territorio piemontese.

In 1994 the planned operational growth of the new Lingotto Exhibition Centre takes place, which represents the opportunity for Turin to show that it is a European city and rediscover its vocation as a laboratory of great productive ideas, to which REAR could not fail to contribute.

The Company, after undergoing a profound managerial renewal, feels the possibility of new opportunities and entrepreneurial perspectives always in compliance with the solid cooperative principles and on this basis we proceeded with a marked entrepreneurial spirit.

From here, solid collaborations are born for conferences, conferences and events of great importance and prestige such as the “General Conference of Confindustria”, the “NATO Summit” and the “European Intergovernmental Conference” that have engaged in this occasion approximately 200 our multilingual hostesses.

Over the years, thanks to the experience gained alongside leading companies, institutions and institutions, REAR has built a dynamic and flexible structure, of the highest professional level, that, using a pool of expert organizers and a workforce that over time has exceeded 1500 members, is able to ensure concrete and timely responses to commissions, throughout the country.

The new millennium sees REAR engaged in many activities with a consolidated presence in THEATRES, MUSEUMS and EXHIBITION CENTRES; in the main ITALIAN UNIVERSITIES; in SHOPPING CENTERS through fire surveillance services and last but not least performs for leading companies in the sector, computerized storage and warehouse management services.

In order to respond to the growing needs for market tertiary services, which require problem-solving skills and technological innovation, in 2001 REAR increased exponentially its resources. This is demonstrated by the multiplicity of new services that the Company is able to offer and by the numerous and prestigious companies that daily decide to make use of the experience and know-how of REAR to give added value to its industry activity, thus reducing operating costs.

The results achieved are evidence of the commitment and professionalism in all these years, during which REAR, investing in human and material resources, has always responded promptly to a constantly evolving market.

For twenty years now (2002), the Company has maintained its ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificate and is working to improve its quality management system in order to guarantee its customers a high standard of quality. From 2013 also wanting tenaciously to continue on the path of continuous improvement, has decided to develop and certify within its organization also a management system for safety (SGS) in reference to the standard OHSAS18001 (to date since 2019 migrated to ISO 45001) and a Management System for Social Responsibility – Ethics (SGE) in reference to the SA8000 standard, integrating Management Systems, since 2016 the Environmental Management System (SGA) ISO 14001 has also been integrated and certified. To date, all certifications have been maintained and renewed.

The constant search for new job opportunities for its members workers has led our cooperative to undertake new initiatives such as: the management of the “Vallestretta Campsite” of the Municipality of Bardonecchia, the kiosk of Riva del Garda “Bar dei Pini” and the one in Torbole “Bar alla sega” and finally the management of the camping market in Arco .

For the development of both new and traditional initiatives the intent is to put our members in a position to express a commercial action, thus giving everyone the opportunity to obtain an economic reward in the event of the development of business with the conclusion of new contracts, thus becoming an active part in the creation of new job opportunities.
