Participants will have the opportunity to explore the history of the museum, discover who made possible the establishment of this prestigious collection, admire the most important finds and listen to the stories they still tell, thus deepening the civilization of Ancient Egypt in a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Bologna, 21 June 2023 – CNS, Consorzio Nazionale Servizi, is officially awarded next three years, the management of ticketing, custody and surveillance, reception and assistance to the public and granting of educational activities and laboratories, audio guides and applications digital, call center and booking center of the complex of “La Venaria Reale”. The executing company will be the Coop Rear, a reality active for almost 40 years in multiservice procurement and with experience in the management of the same services in prestigious realities throughout Italy. Coop Rear, until 2016, has already managed similar services to the Reggia di Venaria. The Consorzio delle Residenze Sabaude, the body that has announced the tender and which is headed by La Venaria Royal, signed the final award act. the activity will happen in continuity on the front of the management of the human resources: all the assigned ones will be absorbed by Rear, with the same national employment contract and with the same qualifications. In addition: a further development of employment in relation to the achievement of some projects. A significant investment in staff training is planned, to give more quality activities aimed at the public. the proposal of CNS and Rear previews the informatizzazione and the digitalzione of all the activities, is those addressed to the public and those of reporting and monitoring by the client. The innovative projects proposed for users and to increase the attractiveness of Venaria Reale will be subject of dedicated communications from the coming months. One of the qualifying points of the offer of CNS and Rear is the educational and didactic offer. The activities proposals, addressed to every target audience and proposals in different languages, allow you to discover the museum heritage in its entirety, both in terms of spaces, through the great variety of environments that make up the complex inside and outside (the village, the palace, the garden and the Real Apartments of Borgo Castello), both in terms of themes, ranging from history, art, to mythology and architecture. For schools, educational paths, workshops, distance learning are proposed and educational and recreational events.

During the conference, the focus was on the change of approach brought about by the new rules of the recent Code of Public Contracts. In particular, we discussed the innovation introduced by the principles set out in the Code, devoting 12 articles to these issues. Among these principles, the result principle, the principle of trust and the principle of market access have been highlighted (Articles 1-3). It is important to note that, as explicitly stated in Article 4, these principles constitute an interpretative and enforcement basis for all the rules contained in the Code.

There are 170 exhibits on display, all coming from the Collections of the Egyptian Museum, with the exception of cuneiform tablets from the Royal Museums of Turin. On display are papyri, masterpieces of statuary, alabaster objects and wooden statuettes, evidence of that material culture through which Egyptologists and historians have reconstructed the biography not only of objects, but of the entire Nilotic civilization

Curated by Paolo Marini, Federico Poole and Susanne Töpfer, curators of the Egyptian Museum, the exhibition is the result of a scientific project conceived by the Director of the Museum, Christian Greco and is supported by the Council for the Enhancement of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Turin.
